The Importance of the Blazer.

The blazer is not one of The Classic Ten, but I feel like it should be added as an honorary member. The blazer has developed into a true necessity for every women's closet, and has grown from strictly business attire to true fashion. I own at least 4 or 5 blazers of different styles, (the one pictured below is my "new" brown blazer inherited from my mother). Then I realized after looking today, that the majority of the "outfit pictures" that are in the Inspiration folder on my desktop, show people in blazers. I was so surprised to see this commonality... it was then that I realized... I'm in love with blazers.

Sometimes you need to modify an article of clothing to your personal liking:
I thought the pink lining on the inside of the jacket was too cute to not show the world,
so the simple action of rolling up the sleeves fixed that up. Not the most exciting outfit,
but it works!

And for some reason flipping the collar up always seems so cool to me,
with motorcycle jackets, blazers, quarter-zip sweaters- I always have to
try the flipped collar.

this jacket is to-die-for. It fits around the waist so well and I
love the scrunched up sleeves. Perfect for multiple seasons.

looks positively vintage. Her blazer fits well even into her own personal style.

I'm not sure if it is a blazer or coat, but any camel outwear has
been pegged as a season necessity.

picture, I think the outfit is just perfect! And those glasses- I want.

A beautifully colored blazer. The green pants go so well with it.
Blazers don't have to be black, brown, or blue-  bold colors like
this make a great statement!

seems so cozy, helped by a textured blazer.

Structure, structure, structure. 

And I love the black accents on the jacket.

3. Okay, those two men look so stylish, classy and completely original while still wearing basic blazers they jazzed up themselves. 

4. I love the right photograph. The girl looks so mysterious peering over her shoulder. I love the oversize/boyfriend gold blazer/coat. It's bright and bold- and seems to be forming into a very popular color choice!
