Warby Parker + Keds

I never fail to feel really stupid taking photos of myself, especially shameless iPhone mirror shots like these, but sometimes you just feel good about an outfit and you want to share it. I never know if outfit posts are what people like, especially when I don't have a real camera to take photos with, so if any of you guys feel strongly one way or another, please let me know!

I thought I would share two additions to my "wardrobe" that I'm really excited about and loving. First are my (not really new anymore), red Keds. I remember writing the Classic Ten post about sneakers, and back then I just knew I HAD to invest in some Keds--classic, slim-fitted Keds. And I truly love them. If anyone is considering buying them, please do. It's become a real staple in my closet, and I even wore them in the winter with fun patterned socks because I love them that much!

I just thought this outfit was fun--and a good intro to spring! I finally felt like the weather was perfect enough for shorts and a tank top that day. Plus what's more spring than a nautical top, bow-tie shorts and fun Tiffany-blue nail polish?

 My other addition to the wardrobe are my Warby Parker glasses. They are literally the best glasses I have ever had the pleasure of owning (and yes, they are real with a real prescription. For some reason people keep asking me that. I don't think I would be the type of person to wear glasses when I don't need too. Odd.) They have this cool, retro, men's 50s-style to them, and with my love for menswear, I thought they were perfect. They make me feel like a 1950s cool cat!


Also, I've been really digging the bangs. I am so glad I chose to get them!
